The School Council, which consists of pupil representatives, meets regularly either as an autonomous group or with staff to discuss matters of mutual concern and put forward ideas. Governors meet with the school council termly to ensure the pupils have input directly at governing board level. 

The school council has managed to achieve significant changes to life at the school. Report back sessions and information exchange are undertaken by class representatives with their own classes on a regular basis.
