PE Kit – from Sept 20 Pupils will wear PE kit on the days they have PE.

  • For indoor – Black shorts and red t-shirt, plimsoles NOT trainers as they damage the hall floor.
  • For outdoor –Black jogging bottoms and red hoodie or black tracksuit or black shorts, trainers. (or football boots for football)
  • For year 4 and top up Swimming – Towel, swimming costume and cap (if children have long hair), waterproof bag.

It should be noted that PE is part of the National Curriculum and children can only be permitted to miss a lesson on medical grounds upon receipt of a note from parents.

Bags

Because cloakroom space is limited, each child will need a soft drawstring bag in which to keep PE equipment, these are available for purchase from our uniform providers. (PE bags are not required from Sept 20 to reduce transmission of COVID)

Your child also needs a simple hand held book bag which fits in their classroom tray.

We find the extra wide book bags with the long strap often trip the children over therefore request our suppliers do not stock / provide them.

Additional information

School Uniform

Our School Uniform

School sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts and T-shirts are all available to purchase from our uniform supplier.

Please note skirts, trousers and pinafores should be GREY

Wellingtons should always be clearly named and please send a peg to enable the pair to be clipped together. Pupils require a change of footwear for indoors when wellingtons are being worn to school.

We also hope that your child can dress and undress themselves as this saves us all so much time in school. If your child has laces in any shoes, please ensure that they can tie them.

It is important that all possessions are clearly marked with your child’s name for easy identification.

Uniform Suppliers

  • ALR Embroidery in Thompson Street, Darlington can provide all uniform with logo. Alternatively uniform can be bought without the logo rom any uniform reseller such as a supermarket.
  • ALR will embroider on uniform purchased elsewhere for a small fee.
