Fundraising at Whinfield

At Whinfield we are proud to work with our neighbours, community and local business, many of whom sponsor our work and support us by volunteering in our school.

Everything we do is for the benefit of our children and we greatly appreciate all the support we receive.

We had a dedicated group of parents who operated our Friends of School group.

September 2019 saw the launch of our School Lottery to help raise funds to be reinvested directly into school.

We welcome all support but please be gamble aware and to not overspend (open to adults age 16 and over).

Fundraising for Charities

As a school we receive lots of requests to help individuals and charities raise awareness or funds for their cause.

We agree together as a school each September which charities and events will be supported that academic year to ensure these events are in line with our core purpose of teaching and learning. If you have a charity you would like us to support, please contact the school in writing admin@whinfield.net.

Please note we are unable to support unregistered charities or individuals.

2019-22 Charities include:

Annabelle’s Challenge VEDs
Children in Need
McMillian Coffee Morning
Red Nose Day
Whinfield Friends of School
Children’s Cancer Fund
Unicef Xmas Jumper Day
The British Legion – Poppies

Unfortunately, we have been unable to actively fundraise with in-school events since March 2020 due to COVID 19 however, we have still participated in Children in Need, Red Nose Day and The British Legion.
